Metal Casted Sculptures

From the beginning of man's ability to melt and reform metal, man has always created objects in his own image and in images which depict the world around him.  Although there have been tremendous advances in the techniques of metal casting, the basic process remains the same.  Metal must be liquefied and poured into molds to reshape it.  The artists affiliated with the California Art Studio apply their creative imagination to the ancient process of metal casting to produce sculptures that are fascinating and exciting to view.  Updated with modern techniques of casting and using aluminum alloys which allow greater flexibility in design and form, the artisans at California Art Studio create hand crafted works of art that are both beautiful and affordable. Every artist affiliated with the Studio specializes in their expertise and focus.  Ranging from contemporary abstracts to representational, some sculptures are free standing while others are wall mountable.  Every piece is by design, hand-crafted and meticulously hand-finished ensuring that no two pieces will be exactly alike.  Using only lightweight, non-corrosive alloys, these sculptures are uniquely suited for both indoor and outdoor display.  Sculptures may be customized to compliment any decor by selecting from 10 different finishes.
